Fine arts education helps our students to learn about themselves and connect to the world. The arts provide ways to develop self-understanding and find different ways how to express your own feelings in your art work and musical performance. During this year we will listen, evaluate, and recognize music of different composers of different time frames and from different countries. We will have an opportunity to be exposed to different cultures and connect to the historical events through music. It is my belief that music is a powerful tool which could be used to provide aesthetic growth and help to students to build appreciation, satisfaction, and an enhanced quality of life.
